Winter Bowls

From June, both our greens are closed for renovations. It is hoped that they will open for winter bowls and for our scheduled tournaments early in July.

Bowls BoP (Western Bay) have a full schedule of events through until early September, just check the Programme. Four Tournaments allocated to Omanu are listed in the Winter programme in July and August.

Indoor Bowls

Commencing Monday, 9th May and every Monday afternoon Indoor Bowls is played at the Club. Entry fees are nominal and the lucky winners take away a tin of peaches, or even a bar of chocolate! Whatever, the 30 or so players have an enjoyable time. Visitors Welcome

Play starts at 1.00 pm (names in by 12.45 latest). Convenors Jim Reid and Jim Pratt, just ring or call at the Clubhouse.

Mahjongg

Commencing on Tuesday, 10 May, every Tuesday is Mahjongg day, again with a one-o-clock start. Contact Margaret Dalley for further information or just roll up to the club rooms. I understand there is tuition available for the uninitiated.

Cards (500)

Anyone for 500? Come along, also on a Tuesday, starting from 10 May, 1.00 pm start. Jim Pratt is again running this activity
